Terms of Use
Effective August 20, 2026
These Terms govern your use of E.A.T (Eat and Track), operated by Campbell Ventures LLC (“E.A.T,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using E.A.T, you agree to these Terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement that agreement.
1. Accounts, eligibility, and acceptable use
You must be legally eligible to use E.A.T. If you are a minor where you live, you may use E.A.T only with permission from your parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may not use E.A.T to violate law, impersonate another person, harass others, distribute malware or spam, interfere with the service, scrape content without authorization, or evade enforcement actions.
2. User content and copyright
Your responsibility
You retain ownership of photos, recipes, captions, comments, profile information, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of publishing it.
Your promises
Each time you publish User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- you created it or have all permissions, licenses, and rights needed to upload and share it through E.A.T;
- it does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person;
- people identifiable in a photo have consented where consent is legally required; and
- the content and information you provide are not unlawful, fraudulent, or materially misleading.
License needed to operate E.A.T
You grant Campbell Ventures LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display, distribute, and make your User Content available only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the E.A.T service. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained in backups, records required by law, content already shared by other users outside our control, or materials used with your separate permission.
Removal and enforcement
We may restrict visibility or remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates risk, or must be removed by law. We may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts, including repeat copyright infringers where appropriate. Reporting a post does not guarantee removal, and we may request additional information before acting.
3. Copyright complaints and counter-notices
If you believe content on E.A.T infringes your copyright, email info@campbellventures.org with the subject “E.A.T Copyright Notice” and include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing E.A.T content, including the username, recipe title, and screenshots or links where available;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
A user whose content is removed may send a legally valid counter-notice to the same address. Misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may create liability. We may forward notices and counter-notices to the affected parties and relevant service providers.
4. Community safety
Users can report recipes, comments, and accounts in the app, including for copyright violations, and can block other accounts. E.A.T administrators may review reports and take proportionate action. Do not submit confidential information through public posts or reports.
5. Nutrition and AI estimates
Nutrition data, barcode results, recipes, calorie targets, macronutrient targets, Apple Health comparisons, and AI estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review results before relying on them. E.A.T is not a medical provider and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. Consult a qualified professional for individualized advice, especially if pregnant, under 18, managing a medical condition, or making major dietary changes.
6. Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple In-App Purchase. Prices, renewal periods, trials, and cancellation options are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through Apple in accordance with the terms shown at purchase. E.A.T cannot directly process App Store refunds.
7. Wellness competitions and rewards
Participation in challenges, standings, streaks, badges, and XP is voluntary. These features are intended to encourage general wellness habits and are not medical programs. Do not ignore hunger, thirst, symptoms, medical instructions, or safe nutrition practices to earn points. XP, badges, trophies, rankings, and other in-app rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be corrected or removed if awarded through error, abuse, or manipulation.
8. Service availability and disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, E.A.T is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not control or endorse User Content or third-party services and are not responsible for content users copy, save, or distribute outside E.A.T.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campbell Ventures LLC and its members, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from E.A.T. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Campbell Ventures LLC and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
11. Termination
You may stop using E.A.T and delete your account through the in-app deletion flow. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address repeated infringement, or enforce these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as E.A.T changes. We will post the revised version and update the effective date, with additional notice when required. Questions, copyright notices, and support requests may be sent to info@campbellventures.org.
